Karen Roberts | CEO & FOUNDER
Dundee Beauty Trainer | Eye Tonic Lash & Brow Educator
Karen Roberts is the CEO and founder of Eye Tonic. Eye Tonic launched in October 2021 and many salons and beauty therapists across the UK are already using our products.
We are very proud of our products and our aim is to provide quality products and training for salons to carry out the best treatments for their clients.
Karen has a love for teaching and is the Dundee-based trainer for Eye Tonic. Her ethos is to deliver every training course to the best of her ability by passing on her skills, knowledge and more importantly; offering ongoing support to each and every student.
Tina Johnson
Ashton-under-Lyne/Lancashire Beauty Trainer | Eye Tonic Lash & Brow Educator
Meet Tina our Ashton-under-Lyne/ Lancashire based trainer.
Tina has been within the industry for over 20 years, having owned her own hair models agency, media and fashion school, and now a beauty and aesthetics academy.
Tina is very passionate about what she does and has an eye for detail. A caring and compassionate practitioner whose belief is to make you look and feel your optimum best whilst giving you realistic expectations.
As a Lady Tonic educator she has a passion for teaching and can’t wait to meet you all.
Lana Low
Perth Beauty Trainer | Eye Tonic Lash & Brow Educator
Meet Lana – our Perth-based trainer. Lana opened her first salon in 2004 and is very passionate about all things beauty – especially brows and facial aesthetics. Lana has attended numerous training courses over the years ensuring that she is always continually developing her skills.
Lana qualified as a trainer in 2020 and enjoyed teaching and passing her skill and knowledge onto students and to support them in becoming Eye Tonic professionals.
Susie Stevens
Glasgow Beauty Trainer | Eye Tonic Lash & Brow Educator
Meet Susie our Glasgow based trainer. Susie got into the beauty industry 10 years ago at the age of 40 when she started in lash extensions. She added to her portfolio and trained in brows, nails, tanning and more. She started out as a freelancer and mobile technician then set up a home salon shortly after and took on her 1st technician to help with the demand.
In Jan 2019 she took her Award in Education qualification and started training that year. In 2020 she opened her training academy and salon in Bishopbriggs Glasgow and specialises in lashes, brows and Training. Susie has taught many students and helped them start their career in lashes.
Susie won Russian Volume Lash Technician at the NBL awards in 2019, a Bronze award for Best Lash Bar at the British Beauty Awards in 2021 and is nominated at the Scottish Hair and Beauty awards 2022. Susie is always learning and expanding and her salon now has 5 technicians including 2 lash/brow which she trained, a nail tech and MUA and is now a trainer for Eye Tonic teaching lash lift and brow lamination.
Ashaa Rafique
Luton Beauty Trainer | Eye Tonic Lash & Brow Educator
Meet Ashaa Rafique our Luton trainer. Aasha has been in the beauty industry for 24 years after starting in 1998. Aasha started off teaching part-time in 2003 alongside her full-time job in aviation. In 2008 Aasha was offered a full-time role teaching beauty therapy full time in her local college where she had completed my beauty training now working alongside her own trainers.
The college opened a new campus where she started off with 8 students and within the first 3 months, the classes grew from 1 class to 3 classes a day with 20 students in each class teaching levels 1 and 2 they were long days but was all worth it. At this time Aasha also completed her post-graduate degree in teaching in 2012 and was mentioned in the VTCT beauty magazine for her work.
She then went on to teach in an academy 3 days a week on her days off from college (& weekends) for 4 years where she gained more experience from individuals all over the UK; travelling to Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, London Heathrow, London Docklands and Edinburgh
Ashaa has spent more than half her life in beauty and feels that she can share her skills with your company expanding her own knowledge in the process. Now teaching and assessing for VTCT in her local college as well as running her own beauty room providing treatments – adding on training starting with Eye Tonic will be her next step.
Kathy Bacchus
Manchester/Swinton Beauty Trainer | Eye Tonic Lash & Brow Educator
Meet Kathy our Manchester-based Trainer. Kathy switched careers from HR Consultancy to Beauty Therapy in 2020 & has gone from strength to strength, opening her own gorgeous Home Salon.
She has exclusively trained across a wide range of Beauty Services with Award-Winning Training Academics, including Nsi, Jane Bryan, By KASO, Devon Lash Dolls, CS Hair & Beauty, & Goddess Make-up.
She has just successfully completed her Aesthetics Lip Filler/ Botox Training with North-West Award-winning Ask-Academy. She is passionate about providing quality services to her clients and empowering them to look & feel absolutely amazing.
Kathy just successfully completed her AET Level 3 as Trainer & is looking forward to welcoming you, supporting your training with Eye Tonic, so that you can deliver 5-star services to your clients.
